Here are the services I provide for the GeriPal podcast:

  • Edit the Video
    • Edit out flubs, level co-hosts/guests audio, noise reduction, compression and EQ
    • Adjust color and brightness levels as necessary (especially for Skype video from guests)
    • Export to MP4 and upload to their YouTube channel
    • Add metada and schedule the publish date/time
  • Edit the Audio
    • Standard cuts, co-hosts/guest leveling, noise reduction, compression and EQ
    • Export edited audio to AIF / WAV with standard podcast Loudness Unit relative to Full Scale (LUFS) settings
    • Upload the edited AIF / WAV file to SoundCloud (their podcast host), add metadata, and schedule the publish date/time
  • Transcription service
    • Upload audio file to transcription service
    • Receive transcript and format for use on Google Blogger (bold speakers, add spacing, etc…)
  • Create new blog post in Google Blogger
    • Add formatted transcript
    • Add the SoundCloud / YouTube podcast embed code
    • Schedule the blog post publish date/time
  • Create FaceBook post announcing the new episode
